Earlier this month, Harvard Medical School featured an I-PASS study that was published by the Journal of Hospital Medicine. The study demonstrated that the I-PASS program is both effective and adaptable in decreasing adverse events across a wide set of provider types and care settings. In addition to highlighting key study findings, Harvard Medical School discussed the I-PASS mnemonic, other successful I-PASS studies, and two I-PASS co-founders, Dr. Landrigan and Dr. Starmer, who set out to create a universal handoff language.
